The Court of Honour

The Château’s main door opens onto a three-sided entrance courtyard or “cour d’honneur “, stone paved and lined with arcades, which also forms the entrance to the first garden, the Terrace of Honour, overhanging the estate’s  gardens

The Dining Room

A 12th century room, from the architectural point of view, with a 15th century fireplace and 17th century furniture including inter alia, magnificent Louis XIII bronze candelabra.

The Medieval Garden

The Medieval or Apothecary’s Garden is bordered with box hedges whose lines unfold a particularly original meander motif, inspired by ancient mosaics. It contains medicinal plants used in the Middle Ages.

The Italian Garden

The Italian Garden is airily suspended on 15m high arches. It gives onto a tea room built using the château’s bartizan or watchman’s overhanging turret.

The Abacus (Le Boulier)

This 200 m2 garden area can be covered by a tent (16m x 5m – complete covered area of 80 m2).
A pine floor (9m x 5m) can be installed over part of the total surface area (providing a dance floor).
